Hello everyone! January was a busy month for us as we shook off the holidays and entered into the new decade swinging for the fences. The construction world has been lucky with a drier season in Southern California compared to the last few years, which means our jobs stay on schedule and our clients stay happy. This month we would like to welcome a new member to the DBaC team and showcase a recently completed project at 3100 + 3130 South Harbor in Santa Ana.
Please join us in welcoming our newest Project Coordinator, Tanya Yates! Tanya comes to us from another commercial general contractor in the Orange County area working as a project coordinator for them. Her background is a valuable asset for us as she has hit the ground running and is quickly becoming a reliable coordinator for us. Tanya was born and raised her in Orange County and currently lives in Fountain Valley. Her two kids are all grown up now and out of the house, but she looks forward to becoming a dog mom again soon. She loves to cook and watch the Food Network and we can’t wait for what she brings in for our company potlucks! Thank you, Tanya, and welcome to the team!
The Elevate Campus, owned and operated by Kearny Real Estate Company, is a 197,370 SF property that includes two mid-rise buildings equipped with expansive outdoor areas, more than adequate parking and newly renovated 1st and 2nd floors in both buildings. DBaC project manager Nick Vaters oversaw work that included full podium reimaging hardscape and landscape, reimaging the 3130 lobby, conference room, fitness center, and restrooms. While this work was ongoing he also built out white boxes on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building for prospective tenants. In the 3100 building, Nick renovated Optima Tax’s suite and built out Spec Suites on the 2nd floor. The total cost of work was over $4.6 Million and we are very fortunate to have partnered with Kearny for the work. Thanks to everyone from the Kearny team who helped facilitate this construction project and we look forward to working with you again soon!
